Directed – Directed by Peter Hyams. With Tom Everett Scott, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Orlando Jones, Linzey Cocker. Deep within a forest on the US-Canadian border, two sworn enemies must work together to escape a ruthless drug cartel hell-bent on retrieving a drug shipment which went missing there.
What About movie – Forest ranger and Ex-Navy SEAL Henry is forced by the drug cartel to help retrieve a major shipment of drugs which went missing on the US-Canadian border. While in the woods, he runs into a man who has a vendetta against him, but both men must struggle to escape the forest and defeat the cartel, while at odds and at knife’s edge with each other.

“Nothings gonna stop this thing, you hear me.” Henry (Scott) is aformer Navy Seal who is working as a forest ranger on the US/Canadianborder. When a drug cartel led by Xander (Van Damme) shows up they wanthelp finding their drug shipment that has gone missing. At the sametime someone connected to Henry’s past shows up with a grudge againsthim looking for revenge. This is a hard movie to review. It is a VanDamme movie so you know what to expect even though this is a littledifferent then most of his recent films. The big difference in this isthat he is a bad guy. I think its because of his age but the actionsequences in his new movies aren’t nearly as cool as they used to be.The movie itself though isn’t that terrible and in terms of B moviesits OK. The most interesting aspect is between Henry and the man whothreatens him. Its pretty predictable but in a Van Damme movie that isexpected. Overall, Van Damme fans will like this, everyone else mayenjoy it. I expected worse.
