What can i say about this movie? I have seen it quite a few times sincethefirst time when i was around 6. I have seen the english version and it isdone very well. It is a great movie for all ages, but it is directed morefor children. I love the childlike humor and appreciate it.

Tyler does seem content after he meets with lovely Amber, but Tammy is concerned about her husband when he near-hysterically claims that local creatures, including beavers, ravens, bears, fox, etc. have joined forces to sabotage his project.

I hated it. It is beyond stupid. But then I realised that when I playwith my little children they love it when I do really stupid things andput on really stupid voices and pretend to fall over in a really stupidway. They especially like it when the joke about wee wee or pooh poohand they love animals. On top of this adults have always told childrenreally simplistic stories, normally involving animals, with a moreimportant message wrapped up in it. Aesop Fables spring to mind. Watchit with children, let yourself go and revert to your more simple,childish self and you’ll enjoy a valuable experience with them.

She has a fear of losing, and she also fears that her friends will laugh at her. Surinder overhears her problem and decides to go in for a makeover. He watches some movies and learns to dance in order to woo his young wife. Throughout the show, Taani keeps falling in love to with this new-and-improved Surinder without once realizing that he’s really her husband.”

I thought that this movie was nothing special but tolerable until thestupid ending just ruined it completely. I was waiting for the moviemakers to merge the Suri/Raj characters into a more normal man but no!It would have made perfect sense because the geek and the weird fashionstud were both the same person and Taani loved them both!! But thatwasn’t meant to be; I watched with growing disgust as the honeymoonphotos flipped by because an ugly, very middle-aged looking geezer anda young, beautiful woman didn’t look like a convincing couple at all,more like a father and daughter!! I really hated SRK’s mustache when hewas Suri and the Raj character was way over the top and irritating.

Awaiting something in the neighborhood of Breaking Dawn, I must admit Iwas disappointed. Not from Kellys acting, although she at times hadsome trouble too. But then, you can’t lead the movie all by yourself.The rest was, I have to say, pathetic. The villain should focus on someexpressive acting. I mean, where’s a Malkovich when you need one,right? And I’m still trying to understand why somebody gave this moviea prize for editing, no offense. For instance, look at the scenesbetween Kelly and the bad girl (don’t remember her name, doesn’tmatter) at the nice guys place. Mirror in the back, distracting, hitwithout blood (and the punch was dubbed close to a Rocky’s cross, afterall, it’s a movie, we are talking hyper-reality here, people). Then theguy from behind chloroforming her (and that passing out was really bad,too, sorry Kelly). Can you see him in one scene, then not, then again?I mean, did any of the staff actually watch the movie after it wasfinished? And don’t talk to me about budget, either. I think theBlairwitch Project went on an even lower budget, and it was freaky,followed by a sequel, and rocked the Hollyworld to a completely newmovie experience level.

I dunno what it is about this movie, but it is so addictive. The firsttimei watched it it scared the mess outta me! But I really liked it andwatchedit over and over. I myself am a fan of older horror movies, and this movieis for sure a lot better then some of the so called horror movies nowdays.Some of the stuff i didn’t really like though (SPOILER) I didn’t reallylikethe way they drew on Jesus’s picture, and i didn’t care to much for theregathering when Issac preached about their “god” “He Who Walks Behind theRows”.

When World War II breaks out, one working class family (The Crowson’s)find themselves playing their part in the war effort. Dad joins the wareffort, elder daughter Celia signs up to serve and youngest daughterElsie is to work in a factory. While the two daughters try to fit inwhere they are placed, it is Elsie that takes to the working classlabour better, even thought some of her colleagues from the upperclasses don’t fit in as well. Meanwhile, back at home, Dad finds thebattle against dishes and housework to be even more of a challenge thanthe battle against the Hun.Although it is clearly a propaganda film in essence, this wartime dramais quite interesting for not being as simplistic as some of its peers.In this family drama we don’t really have a message pushed that hardbut are instead left to draw out own warmth from a narrative that has asurprising amount about class within it. In this regard it does producesome interesting threads although those looking back for sharp commentwill not find it because this is still a melodrama with a propagandaedge. As such it is a bit plodding at times but I still quite enjoyedit for what it was although I can understand why some viewers havefound it a bit dull and lacking in sharpness.The cast are pretty good with the material. Roc and Dunn give good ifunspectacular turns as the daughters while Marriott provides a workingclass comic relief to proceedings as the father.

Inconsequential but compulsive, singer-musician Spade Cooley’s threestarring Westerns (this one, Border Outlaws and The Silver Bandit, all1950) were made at the end of his screen career, after he had spent hisprevious time in film appearing as the musical interest supportingvarious oaters. Inconsequential because none of the 3 rise above theirlow budget limitation, whilst Cooley himself is a incurably woodenperformer. Compulsive, because Cooley infamously murdered his realspouse ten years after these films were made, was thereafter sentencedto life for his crime, and watching the now forgotten images on screenacquires a morbid fascination entirely of their own. (One of hisbiggest hits was titled Shame on You.) And because of their sad star,the films’ half hearted attempts at satirising the more successfulsinging cowboys of the time, like Rogers and Autry, actually succeed intouching a nerve in a way their makers could never had imagined.The Kid from Gower Gulch demonstrates this perfectly. As was the rulein his films, Cooley plays himself, but with a slight fictional varianton his screen persona. As ‘Spade Cooley’, ironically welcomed as the’famous Western comedy music star’, here he plays a key part in helpinga rancher win a crucial rodeo competition. But ‘Cooley’ is a fake, foras he admits: ‘I never wanted to be a Western actor …Everything I do inpictures is done by others’ and he is ‘ashamed to keep fooling thepublic’.

What About movie – Mary Marshall, serving a six year term for accidental manslaughter, is given a Christmas furlough from prison to visit her closest relatives, her uncle and his family in a small Midwestern town. On the train she meets Zach Morgan, a troubled army sergeant on leave for the holidays from a military hospital. Although his physical wounds have healed, he is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and is subject to panic attacks. The pair are attracted to one another and in the warm atmosphere of the Christmas season friendship blossoms into romance, but Mary is reluctant to tell him of her past and that she must shortly return to prison to serve the remainder of her sentence.

Good World War II romantic drama with excellent performances by GingerRogers, Joseph Cotton and 16-year old Shirley Temple.”I’ll Be Seeing You” looks at the effects of a kind of `battle fatigue’known then as “old sergeant’s syndrome”. This particular form ofpost-traumatic stress occurred in battle-seasoned noncommissionedofficers.After a dreadful encounter with someone’s guard dog Sgt. Zachary Morgan,onleave from an Army mental hospital, experiences a very realistic anddramatically effective “flash back”. Through judicious camera editing yousee Joseph Cotton affect the appropriate ‘sweat response’, as hisforehead,chest, shoulders and armpits become progressively more sweat-drenched.Veryrealistic!This movie also subtly delivers the message that none of us are perfect andthat open-mindedness and compassion are virtues called for under difficultcircumstances.

First off, there is NO beach party in the movie. The party, such as itis, actually takes place at the very end of the flick in front of agarage. Strike one.Next, the “monster” which they call a skunk ape, is a man in a really,really cheap gorilla outfit. It’s a skunk ape cause it smells bad.Strike two. I expected them to pull a Scooby-Doo and reveal at the endthat it was actually a killer in a gorilla costume, but no, they stickwith the monster story.Finally, the attempts at humor fall flat. It makes you long for FrankieAvalon and Annette Funicello’s comic delivery. Strike three.A bunch of songs are peppered throughout, just like the Beach Partymovies, except these tunes are all pretty forgettable, with theexception of Syphilis, which was mildly amusing, and Go Go Gorillawhich is a bit catchy. The songs are all sung badly. I’ll give the film 3 stars because I grant leeway for low budget indiesand the performers seem to be having a good time. Also, they try torecreate the 60s feel of the Beach Party movies with the cars andclothes, and do a decent job for little money. Just the same, I’drather watch Ghost in the Invisible Bikini than see this again.
